Skin Tag Removal is a minor surgical procedure to remove small, benign and superficial malignant skin lesions including but not limited to seborrheic keratosis, actinic keratosis, nodular and superficial basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma in-situ.

Alternatives vary depending on the type of lesion being treated but may include observation, excision, topical chemotherapy, cryotherapy, curettage and excision.
Post-care for Skin tag removal

Clean your wound two times a day with antibacterial soap and water. If the wound was closed with sutures, follow your doctor's aftercare instructions regarding whether you can get your wound wet.

Apply an antibiotic ointment to your wound after cleaning, and then cover with a sterile bandage.

Avoid scratching and rubbing your wound during recovery. As your wound heals, it may itch. Keeping the area moist with a thin layer of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) will help relieve the itching.

Don't use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, which can slow healing.
