Microshading/Powder Brows
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup form that gives you a more natural look with the hair stroke technique, while microshading tattoos small pin-point dots repetitively along your brows for a less defined finish.
How is the Microblading procedure taking place?
After being applied numbing cream, your eyebrows will be drawn to the desired shape. When you approve the shape and color, our microblading artist will perform the treatment using a disposable handheld tool, composed with very fine needles resembling the shape of a blade, to hand draw each individual hair and simultaneously implant the pigment into the skin.
How is the Microshading/Powder brows procedure different?
Microshading / Powder brows procedure is also a cosmetic semi-permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect. Powder effect is done with a shading technique using a permanent makeup device and a small needle to place pigment into the skin with a quick hand motion, resulting in a pixelated effect of a powder makeup.
At Luminance Health & Beauty Clinic, our trained microblading artists can combine these techniques to create for you a Natural 3D Brows which match your face shape and your personality.
How long does the procedure take?
It usually takes 2 - 3 hours, with most of the time spent going over colors and drawing eyebrow shapes. The microblading or microshading portion lasts 30-45 minutes.
How long does the result last?
Microblading usually lasts 1 to 3 years depending on skin types (the oily skin type tends to fade faster). Clients should go back after 4-6 weeks for a touch-up.
